History and Mission

The story of our Group, Gruppo Dolciario Elledi, starts in 1968 in Galliera Veneta, not far from Padua. Since the beginnings we specialized on wafer biscuit production and ,mainly due to the founders intuitions and passion, we played a fundamental role in the diffusion and growth of this product category. The “sweet passion” went on and a new lady fingers biscuits production line (1983) and a shortbread biscuits machinery (1988), were added to the original wafer production equipments.

Nowadays the Group includes, besides the administration and sales&marketing headquarter, 2 production plants: the first one in Galliera Veneta , specialized in wafer, shortbread, lady fingers and chocolate coated pastry production; the second one located in Tombolo especially equipped to produce Tarts, Cakes, Doughnuts and Snacks.

Our company recipe ingredients - “passion for products” and “modern technology investment” - leaded our Group in reaching leadership position in the confectionery market with strong market shares in different categories. Our goal for the future... growing up following our mission “ Convey emotion to consumers through natural, pleasant and value products”.
